  • Padma Bhushan:Padma Bhushan was conferred on 7 people including H.R.H. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt etc.
  • Padma Shri : Prestigious Padma Shri was conferred on 75 persons including Kailash Kher,Sanjeev Kapoor,Virat Kohli, Dipa Karmakar, Sakshi Malik and many more.

  • India attains 79th position out of 176 countries in the Corruption Perception Index 2016, recently released by Transparency International.
