Is it possible to crack CLAT without coaching?
Answer: CLAT is considered one of the toughest law entrance exams in India. Taking coaching classes in a matter of personal choice for any student. But coaching classes offer some distinct advantages like expert mentors, smart study, updated mock exams, and 24X7 which can’t be compensated with self -study.
What are the eligibility criteria for CLAT 2021?
Answer:
As per the new provision, a candidate should have completed the Class 12 from a recognized board with a minimum 45 percent marks (40 percent for SC/ST category candidates). There is no upper age limit for appearing in CLAT examinations.
What changes have been made to the CLAT exam pattern?
Answer:
As per the new exam pattern, there will now be 150 questions instead of 200. Moreover, each section will have a higher number of comprehensive questions for CLAT 2020 as compared to last year.
How many law entrance exams are there in India?
Answer:
Apart from the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), there are some other important law entrance tests in India. These are the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET), Law School Admission Test (LSAT), and Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MH-CET).

- CLAT Exam : CLAT exam is conducted by the consortium comprising 22 participating NLUs and the exam is conducted at a national level.
The online enrollment for CLAT 2021 will open on January 1, 2021 and close on March 31, 2021. The application has to be submitted Online only from website www.clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in - AILET Exam : The only law entrance exam in India conducted and accepted by the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD).
Eligible candidates can apply online mode only through University website https://nludelhi.ac.in/

Exam date- 20th June, 21 - SLAT or SET Law : The entrance exam is conducted by SIU Pune – Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admissions to undergraduate courses offered at its four law schools in Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune, SLS Hyderabad, SLS Nagpur and, SLS Noida.

Last date- To be announced - LSAT India : Law School Admission Test (LSAT) is a standardized test of reading and verbal reasoning skills conducted four times every year specially designed for LLB and LLM admissions. LSAT scores are accepted by top institutes like Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law, IIT Kharagpur Law School, Galgotia University more.School, The Jindal Global Law School, UPES Dehradun, SRM University, Amity Law School and many more.
Application starts – 25th March 2021 - MH CET Law Exam : The entrance exam is conducted for five-years integrated LLB as well as three-years LLB courses offered at the Maharashtra state universities and law colleges.

- IPU CET : IPU CET stands for Indraprastha University Common Entrance Test. Indraprastha University offers admission to the various Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. The admission of the candidates is done through Common Entrance Test (CET) or on the merit of the qualifying degrees.The schedule to conduct Common Entrance Test (CET) for different streams is available.
- Amity Law School : Admission through IPUCET
- Calcutta University BA LLB entrance : Calcutta University BA LLB Entrance Exam is conducted by the Calcutta University usually in August. The application process of the entrance exam will be held through an online mode only.
- Nirma University : Admission through CLAT rank
- KIITEE Law entrance : Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) has released the KIITEE law application form 2020 on December 10. The last date to fill and submit the application form is March 31.
The institute will conduct the computer-based KIITEE 2021 entrance exam from April 16 to April 18, 2021. - NMIMS : Merit list will be prepared on the basis of CLAT or LSAT score & the program/campus preferences for the course given by the candidate at the time of online registration.
- CULEE : The registration process for CULEE 2021 has commenced from December 8, 2020, and is expected to go on until May 31, 2021. The law entrance exam is likely to be held in the first week of April in the offline mode. The Christ University Law Entrance Exam, commonly known as CULEE, is a University level entrance exam.
